Kill Bill Vol. 2 - Take 2

So far I've had a movie filled weekend. Saw "The Punisher" yesterday with my older brother and it was OK. It was entertaining, but it was way too long for a comic book movie. I think it came to a little over two hours, which came off as just way too long for me. X-Men and Daredevil were each about 90 minutes, so they could have cut a lot of useless and slow moving stuff out of it and gotten tighter and more entertaining. It definitely dragged in a lot of places, had way too slow of a build up and was extremely anti-climactic at the end. But thats just me.

As for Kill Bill Vol. 2, it was awesome. I saw it last night with Seth and I only had one problem with it. I couldn't stay awake in the theatre. Yes, that's right, me, movie loving film geek, couldn't stay conscious for a two hour movie. The movie ended and I asked Seth, "So was it good?" Needless to say I was pissed at myself, so I went again this morning to the first show and after watching it conscious this time, I don't think I really missed the gist of what happened, just a lot of the details, like say, oh, a lot of dialogue. But it was really good and I don't have any problem giving a movie like that my money twice. If you liked the first one, you'll like Vol. 2 even better. If you never saw the first one, go rent it on DVD. You won't regret it, then go see the second.

So, now that I'm made up for last night's idiocy of falling asleep, I have the whole rest of the day to do with as I please. Not sure what I'm going to do exactly. Its still really nice outside, for a change, and I guess I could take Keyser for a walk. We went on one yesterday and it seemed to do him just fine. Didn't help him sleep past 5:30 in the morning, but thats another story. Once he was walked and fed we went back to bed until well past 9, so I guess I can't complain.

Well, I'm off, to do something. What, I don't know yet.
