Good Weekend
I actually had a pretty good weekend. Its amazing how you can actually have fun if you get out of the house and do stuff instead of just sitting around and counting the days until you get to see your girlfriend in London one more time (only 1 month from today to be exact, in case you were wondering!) So I can't complain about the weekend's festivities, although now I'm really tired and really didn't want to get out of bed this morning and go to work, but alas, I must pay the bills, so off I went.
Let's see, Friday night I didn't really do much, just relaxed at home and got caught up on Nip/Tuck, so now when they air new episodes on Tuesday nights I can watch knowing I know whats going on. Although as a side note, I'm pretty ticked off at Randy. I tape the shows digitally on his PC and then watch them myself and/or burn them to DVD to send to Elena. I sent Elena all the Nip/Tuck I downloaded, but I actually taped the episode that aired last week. About in the middle of the episode Randy must've come home from wherever he was and started using his computer. This wouldn't have been so bad if ever sound the computer made didn't get picked up on the audio track of the TV file. So I'm watching and I have to hear the sound Windows makes when he unplugs his iPod, I hear him using AIM to talk to people and just random noises the IE makes. Really annoying and I told him so. But then it got worse. On Sunday I was watching that new Denis Leary show, Rescue Me on my laptop, which I had taped right after Nip/Tuck and I start hearing the sounds of porn through my TV show. Come on Rand! Thats what you have a laptop for! The worst part is I already burned all this stuff to DVD, thinking it was OK and sent it off to Elena. I already warned her and am trying to download a new copy of the show.
Saturday started off really well as Elena had a little video chat, which was fun. No, it wasn't a sexually oriented one, but it was nice anyway, just to see each other moving instead of just hearing them on the phone was nice. Then later in the day, after taking the dog for a bath and nail trim, my little brother and I went to see Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, which was really stupid but really funny, so in the end, enjoyable for the shut your brain off and just enjoy the movie type of thing. Then my cousin, who flew in from DC on Friday went to Randy's friends house for a Luau themed party which was fun. I was hesitant to go, because I really didn't know anyone there and it was almost an hour drive in each direction, but I went anyway and had a good time. Went home, had some pizza for dinner and watched The Sixth Sense, because my cousin never saw it.
Sunday I just kind of lounged around the house for most of the day, but in the afternoon my family went to my mom's aunt and uncle's apartment in Brooklyn to get together with my mom's cousin and her kids from Israel. That was fun. It was cool to see them, as we only get the chance every few years. Had a kickass meal and a local Italian restaurant as well. Only problem is, that once we get over all the weirdness of having to talk to someone we haven't seen in years and actually talking and having fun its time to go. Oh well. Such is life. Went home and watched some TV before I passed out. Unfortunately Keyser was being a pain in the ass. Since he was crated from when we left at like 3 until 10 when we got home he was all over the house. Just too much energy if you ask me. He wouldn't settle down to go to sleep and puked twice in the middle of the night. Nasty if you ask me.
So that was my weekend in a nutshell. Hope everyone had a good one as well and is dealing with Monday better than I am.

My dog always throws up in the middle of the night too. Why can't they do it during the day time??
