All Good All Around
So things are much better now, all around, which is always a good thing. I picked up my car yesterday and after driving it into work today everything seems to be OK and its running like it should. Thats a comforting thought because I wasn't too big on the idea of pumping more money into it or getting a new one, considering I owe more than I could get for a trade in and really wasn't in the mood to sell it on my own. Now that its running fine and thats squared away, thats one less thing for me to worry about.
I also went ahead and called Elena last night, after talking it over with Randy's friend Andrea, the Grace to his Will, she suggested just calling and testing the waters, and I'm glad I did. She was so out of it the other night that she barely remembered the conversation or that I even sounded upset. She said she's busy trying to get her paper done so that she doesn't have to work on it when I'm there in less than two weeks, so thats a good thing. And we had a nice long talk too, something I've been trying to have with her for a week, so I'm happy. She's going to give me a call on Saturday when she needs to take a break from her paper, so hopefully that'll be good too, and it really is less than two weeks before I take my final flight across the pond to London. Should be fun. I'm really looking forward to it.
Alright, thats enough for now. Must get back to work.
