The Holdup

I knew this was going to happen. I want my new car so bad I can taste it, and granted all the money I need to pay for it won't be in my account until Thursday morning, but my exisiting piece of crap car still isn't fixed and the best estimate the guy can give me is tomorrow. I want to get my new car by the weekend, and this is severely hampering the operation. All I can say is that when I finally do get my car back, it better run and run reliably long enough for me to get rid of it, because if it doesn't, I'm going to blow my top, seriously.

I guess if the VW dealership calls and asks what's up with not producing my car to be appraised for a trade-in I can blame my brother or something. Say he took it out of town for a week on vacation or business and he couldn't take his car because he leases it and he's already way over his mileage allowance. That works! I just want my new car so badly. Plus, I'm sick of bumming rides and borrowing other peoples cars. I had to get a ride in with my brother today and I have to depend on Elena picking me up after her voice lesson. Both my dad and my brother will be at their firm's holiday party tonight, so they're a no-go for a ride home.

I just want this whole car fiasco to end because the annoyance of it has been killing me for four months and now that there is an end in sight, there's got to be a major holdup. Damn you transmission!!! Damn you straight to hell.

Alright, enough venting, back to work and reading VW's website for the billionth time about my car.
