This Week Won't End
Its been pretty hectic this week, both at work and in the good old personal life. Elena has her meeting with the agent today, so I'm really hoping she gets it. Not just because it would be great for her, professionally, but I also think it would give her a great confidence boost and pull her somewhat out of this funk she's been in all month long. Plus, with an agent, she won't have to go looking for work as much, as he'll do that for her, and she can devote her spare time to something else, like say, perhaps, me? Her meeting is in about an hour so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. Everyone do the same!
Works been hectic, but thats typical. Hey, it pays the bills so I'm no complaining. Its Superbowl weekend so I'm pretty psyched about that. Maybe fortune will smile upon me in the football pools I've entered and give me some cash. I have some pretty decent numbers, like 7 and 7, so I would love a final score of 27-17 or something. Here's to hoping!
Other than that no crazy plans for this weekend. May go into the city with Elena tomorrow, it all depends on how her meeting goes. Then Saturday my parents are having this huge dinner party for my dad's department so I need to stick around at home and control the dog, because when food is around, Keyser goes crazy, like bite your hand off to get to food crazy. Should be fun. I'm trying to convince Elena to come, so who knows what will happen. Again, if her meeting goes well she'll probably be in the mood to socialize.
