Waiting for the Movers
I don't know what would take longer, waiting for these guys to show up or for Godot. Ha! I crack myself up. Well, I'm all packed and ready to go. I loaded up my mom's SUV with some stuff, namely the important things, like my air conditioner, new TV stand, TV, home theatre system (I splurged and treated myself to one yesterday, my roomies are going to love me!) guitar and other odds and ends. Everything else is all packed up, dismantled and waiting to be loaded up and moved on out! I just spoke with Shari as we're using the same movers, and she said it looks like they're finishing up with her now and then they'll come over here to get my stuff. Fun. I don't think I'm going to get much accomplished in the unpacking department today as I'm leaving this afternoon for a concert, Jimmy Eat World and Green Day. I'm really psyched, just really tired from last night's concert, Our Lady Peace, who kicked some serious ass!
Great show. They really rock live. It was a small venue, so we were close and people weren't acting like assholes, which is always nice. They played like 8 songs off their new album, which just came out Tuesday, the day before the show. So I tried to listen to it as much as possible to get ready for it. They were just really good, I was really impressed. Probably next to U2, the best show I've seen this year. But wait, Pearl Jam in Montreal in two weeks! Can't wait for that one, thats for sure. I've been looking forward to it all summer long.
Alright, time to sit around and wait some more. I'd go lay down in my comfortable as you can imagine bed, but its in pieces at the moment.
