Moved In!
There are two things I'm not doing for a very long time. One, is moving. Two, is going to two concerts while in the midst of moving. I am so exhausted, but I'm so glad that I'm finally here, completely unpacked and settled in. All my IKEA furniture is put together and my room is setup in a way that maximizes the open space in the room. I even managed to get full use out of the two doors in my room, as it was just odd that I was trying to block one. And, there is now a door where there was no door before, which is awesome. I'm just chilling in my room at the moment, watching some House on DVD, through my brand spanking new home theatre in a box system, which is also cool. Seth and Shari are out shopping for some food for dinner. They're BBQing, but I'm not in the mood for that, so I may just go grab so takeout or something.
My older brother, although sometimes a pain in the ass, was crazy helpful, you wouldn't believe. While I was waiting for the movers, he headed over to the house to install my AC, put together my TV stand. Once I got here with the movers, he then put together my armoire and helped Ron, my parents friend who is the carpenter who I'm also eternally grateful to, with all the other stuff he needed to do around. Rand came back today to help me hang the speakers and run the wires for the home theatre system. I'm so happy, I can't even describe it. My room is awesome, the house is cool, although hot with no AC, and all is good. Now I just need a woman next to me, but in time that'll come.
