First Night

So my first night in the new place went really well. I got completely unpacked sometimes yesterday afternoon. All my boxes were empty and all my stuff was stored somewhere. I have very little room to store anything else, so I'll just have to behave myself and not buy myself a lot of unnecessary shit. All that's really left is to alphabetize my DVD's, only because it bugs me that they're in no particular order. Randy came by to help me hang my speakers and run wires to hook up my home theatre system, which was really nice of him. I really need to do something nice as a way of saying thanks. Maybe I'll get him a gift card to someplace. I'll figure it out.

So the whole notion of sleeping later because Keyser isn't around to wake me up went right out the window this morning. First I woke up around 4:40ish, just because I'm used to Keyser waking me up then. Then, I rolled over at about 7 or so, opened my eyes and the sun was coming in right through my windows, which sucks. My room is technically a living room. There's no closet, and there are two doorways, on into the hall, the other into the kitchen, but only one door, until about sometime Thursday. Now I have two door, but only one locks. May have to do something about that. Anyway, the windows, there are 4, all along one wall and they're sort of bay windows. There are two right in the middle, and my bed is against that wall sticking straight out into the room. The other two windows are to the right and left of the two middle ones, just at an angle. So long story short, I need shades, and like today.

Going to be a busy day today, which makes me thankful that I'm all unpacked. I have to go home to my guitar lesson and to swipe my mom's SUV (They just got back from Hawaii today). Then its onto my aunts place to get her kitchen table, then back here to unload the table, then probably back home to give my mom her truck back. Maybe I could swing it that they come here and check the place out and just take my car here. That'd work out nicely. We shall see.

OK, so its like 9 AM, my other two roommates are moving in at some point today I believe. I should probably get in the shower and get dressed before they get here, just because I don't want to walking around in a towel when they get here. Thankfully my room's second door (The old one) is right next the kitchen and bathroom. Oh, and Shari has a bathroom scale. It'll be fun torturing myself with that one!

Have a great Saturday everyone!

I've been shadeless for a week and a half now, and it's getting old. Fortunately the shutter guy will be here Tuesday!
